There's just something about Blue. This product contains the skin loving goodness of our popular Sea + Blue Balancing Facial Oil with the added emollient properties of prickly pear + mango butters and babassu oil. Made to deeply moisturize and balance the skin while calming inflammation with powerful Azulene, the hard working anti-inflammatory that lends it's gorgeous color.
A Few Key Ingredients:
Prickly pear - High in Betalains, the super antioxidants that help protect skin against aging from various types of skin damaging radicals, prickly pear also contains amino acids that can help stimulate collagen production. Rich in Vitamin K, this super emollient butter can help to brighten skin and reduce the appearance of under eye circles, hyperpigmentation and dark spots. Prickly pear is also renowned for hydrating and nourishing the skin and tightening pores without leaving a greasy or oily residue while lending serious anti-inflammatory properties, helping to repair damage caused by UV rays.
Mango Butter - Because it’s rich in vitamin C, mango butter can help encourage a smooth, plump skin texture and promotes a firmer appearance. It's also high in vitamin A, the "skin vitamin", encouraging a revitalized, glowing complexion and helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, increasing the skin’s overall youthful look. Mango butter is deeply moisturizing, helping to soothe dry patches, flakiness, and is gentle for sensitive skin. We also love it for being one of the most sustainable butters on the planet due to the number of mango trees all over the world. Our goal is to produce our own mango butter from our numerous trees while also working in higher yields with farmers here in Hawaii!
Babassu oil - High in antioxidants including vitamin E, babassu can help destroy the free radicals that cause premature aging and cancer. The oil is naturally anti-inflammatory and can be used to treat skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis, and its phytosterols can provide anti-aging and collagen protection. Having a high concentration of lauric acid, babassu performs antibacterial wonders at the skin's membrane level.
Green tea - Containing a powerful antioxidant called EGCG, green tea fights DNA damage from UV rays and can help prevent skin damage, combating signs of aging. Being high in polyphenols known as catechins, green tea functions as a powerful anti inflammatory and anti cancer ingredient. One of the major catechins in this oil has been shown in studies to be the most effective known agent against cancerous changes in the skin.
Moringa - The natural vitamin C in moringa oil boosts collagen, helping reduce fine lines, wrinkles and sagging skin. Being both vitamin-rich and nutrient-dense, moringa oil makes for an excellent active ingredient thanks to its antioxidants, antibacterial, and nourishing properties. We use the organically grown moringa from our farm in many of our concoctions.
Blue Tansy - Due to its antibacterial, anti fungal, and anti-inflammatory actions, blue tansy is incredibly soothing for dry, itchy, or inflamed skin while also helping to treat eczema, acne, psoriasis, and sensitive skin types. The wonderful scent has been used to help balance brain hemispheres, reducing stress, headaches, and irritability.
To use, apply a small amount to clean skin with clean fingers and massage in circular strokes to increase circulation and absorption. Can be used on entire body including lips, and hair for conditioning before washing or a tiny amount to frizzy ends. Note that if you have extremely oily skin, our Sea + Blue Balancing Facial Oil may work better for you as it's more concentrated in balancing blue tansy, includes lighter oils, and may absorb more quickly.

~ Please Note that you may want to refrigerate this product before flying to warm locales. If product goes unused for a while, the beeswax, which keeps its DNA cellular memory intact, may start to recrystallize to form little beads on the surface that are easily massaged into the skin. This occurs because we don't add any fillers nor do we overheat our products, keeping the Chi and potency as high as possible! Some of the seed oils may vary, depending on seasons, availability, and our own efforts to improve our recipes.
